  1. About time. I was getting tired of all that talk. Robbie is still one of my favorite Yankees. I opted to drop the cash on an authentic jersey last winter, and I decided on Cano. So for the sake of that jersey, I’m hoping he: 1. stays with the Yanks, and 2. bounce back.

I think he’ll bounce back nicely. His numbers outside of the first month or two of the 2008 season were much more like the Robbie Cano we all know and love.

  2. The Hudson talk never made sense to me, unless they were planning to trade Cano for a pitcher, which wasn’t needed after signing Burnett and Sabathia. Or, maybe it would have worked if they moved Cano to CF, but that would be nonsensical.
