  1. got it covered!

guess it didn’t matter that it was Ellsbury, since they’re down 3, he wasn’t stealing.

    • yeah, he was good under pressure, good for mopup, good for short, good for long. Loved his flexibility. Hate that the RS got him.

  2. ow, Salty looks hurt, his wrist.

Joe should take it easy, he wasn’t swinging when the pitch arrived.

    • yeah, it WAS a swing, officially. But he was trying o check, get out of the way at the end. In Russia, it would be swing, no hit by pitch, even if your arm is broken.

  3. A win. Now all we need to win the series is a little luck tomorrow or a miracle Thursday.

  4. The Yanks got angry, finally.

I’ve newfound respect for Cervelli. LOL at the picture of him in Saltamacchia’s catcher-masked face on the Yankees Lohud blog. Always a catcher’s mask on, sigh.

Lackey should’ve been tossed and should be suspended for hitting Cervelli because that HBP was intentional.
