  1. It's a nice, arbitrary success. I just hope he's remembered for being a superb pitcher rather than being the all-time leader for a meaningless stat.

    • it is not a meaningless stat.

      it is a stat, like every other single stat in any sport ever, which cannot be used solely to judge a player's performance.

      declaring it a meaningless stat isn't any better than someone like Joe Morgan declaring Trevor Hoffman the best closer ever because he's the all-time leader
