Verlander wins MVP award

Granderson lead the league in Runs and RBI. Also finished second in home runs. I think he should have been the MVP but then again most commentators had given Ellsbury the MVP in July. When the Red Sox failed to make the playoffs then, they just spoke and wrote about verlander. Jose Bautista would have been a better choice than Verlander. Honestly, the awards continue to become more meaningless every year because it seems that the voting is done in an arbitrary manner.

Why did you have Ellsbury first and Bautista second? Their teams can miss the playoffs without them. If the Red Sox made the playoffs, Ellsbury would definitely deserve MVP.
