A reliable source has informed me that they are putting on a football contest of some importance today, and that one of the local clubs will participate in it. Though, to be honest, I’m a little skeptical as I was led to believe the season had ended last Sunday after the annual two-hand touch game Pro Bowl. What’s that? Have I gotten over the AFC Championship game? Well of course I have, what a silly question!

Okay, seriously, good luck Giants, and since I’m going to force myself to watch at least some of it, the least you could do is make it worth my while by knocking Brady around a while. Just saying. And at least one local coach thinks you’ve got a good shot.

I do have to admit, the Giants and Yankees winning their respective championships in the same year would be kind of cool.
