Yankees sign Clay Rapada

Born in Southwestern Ohio and currently residing on the Chesapeake Bay, Brien is a former editor-in-chief of IIATMS who now spends most of his time sitting on his deck watching his tomatoes ripen and consuming far more MLB Network programming than is safe for one's health or sanity.

Agreed. No way he makes the team.

  2. Yes, SSS caveat, however, as a LOOGY, he could be the guy (of course, I have an irrational dislike of Boooone Logan):

Just don't let him hear RHB's. Ever.

The thing is, the Yankees have enough RHP in the bullpen who do well enough against lefties (including Cory Wade thanks to that changeup), that they don't really need to carry an extra lefty who can never be allowed to pitch to opposite handed batters.

not to mention all the wasted time, when we put in the loogy – opposing manager then pulls his batter, so we then have to pull loogy – ten minutes down the drain to no purpose.
