About Tamar Chalker

Tamar has written for IIATMS since July 2009, having started off writing game recaps before shifting to the minor leagues. 1. It would be nice to see one of Warren, Mitchell or Phelps pitch. Let's just hope they do because the Yankees are blowing someone out and not being blown out.

  2. Definitely, I just don't want to see any of them sitting in the bullpen for a month and not getting any work done when they could be pitching in Triple-A.

I wonder if the fact that Mitchell actually has worked out of the bullpen in the past gives him any advantage. I could be wrong, but I think that Phelps and Warren have not made any relief appearances.

    • Mitchell would seem to be the most logical choice for a long reliever, if only because he has the least to lose. He's a legitimately low ceiling prospect who'll probably end up a reliever in the major leagues anyway, so relegating him to long-man status makes more sense than Phelps, and Warren would have to be added to the 40 man roster.
