It would be nice to see one of Warren, Mitchell or Phelps pitch. Let's just hope they do because the Yankees are blowing someone out and not being blown out.
Definitely, I just don't want to see any of them sitting in the bullpen for a month and not getting any work done when they could be pitching in Triple-A.
I wonder if the fact that Mitchell actually has worked out of the bullpen in the past gives him any advantage. I could be wrong, but I think that Phelps and Warren have not made any relief appearances.
Mitchell would seem to be the most logical choice for a long reliever, if only because he has the least to lose. He's a legitimately low ceiling prospect who'll probably end up a reliever in the major leagues anyway, so relegating him to long-man status makes more sense than Phelps, and Warren would have to be added to the 40 man roster.
