Tampa beat Brevard County 3-0:
Brevard County looked like they would be the first to score, as Michael Walker singled to start the second inning.  Scott Krieger and Adam Weisenburger both walked, loading the bases with one out.  Michael O’Brien struck out the next hitter and got Nick Shaw to ground out, ending the threat.  Tampa turned around and scored first in the bottom of the inning, as Rob Segedin singled and moved to second on Kyle Roller’s groundout.  A single from Tyson Blaser plated Segedin and the Yankees had the lead.  Jose Mojica knocked a solo homer to left in the start of third, giving the Yankees a 2-0 lead.  They struck again in the fifth, when Garrison Lassiter singled to left and stole second.  He moved to third on a groundout by Mojica and scored when Eduardo Sosa drove a double to right, giving Tampa a 3-0 lead that they held to the end.  Ramon Flores and Rob Segedin both went 2-4 and were the only Yankees with more than one hit.  Flores had a double, while Segedin scored a run.  Michael O’Brien went six innings and held the Manatees to just two hits.  He did issue five walks, along with picking up five Ks.  Sean Black threw two innings of scoreless relief, allowing a hit and two walks, while striking out three hitters.
