William Tasker grew up in Bergenfield, New Jersey but has lived in New England since 1975 and in the far reaches of northern Maine since 1990. Tasker is the author of nine (non-baseball related) books and, besides writing here for three years, has written for his own site at www.passion4baseball.blogspot.com since 2003.

  1. For the MLB, this is great! Matt Kemp AND Robinson Cano already in? As a baseball fan, i'm already intrigued to see who else will be there. These guys are part of the "new" (marketable) stars of the MLB, which is great for baseball.

  2. I liked the idea that Harper probably isn't an All-Star but should be in the Derby!

  3. I don't think he'll be swinging from his heels too much. It didn't even look like he was trying on some of those homers last year. It was quite the display.
