I wonder if the fact offense appears down league wide overall the past few years is inflating the issue. It is fair to say the Yankees are dominating the league right now, with only Texas being close competition. Its impossible to not have a good offense.
They're also sixth in Fangraphs' Baserunning Runs, which I believe includes everything but SB/CS, and they're tied for second-lowest in CS.
