Personally, I think its more likely that he just made a deal with the Devil. This was Hughes 11 quality outing in his last 15 starts his ERA during that time 3.34 not much else you can ask of a starting pitcher who isn't the teams ace.
If you think Jeter is on the juice, you need your head examined!!!
