It's hard to fault a team whose pitcher was solid and had to face a tough opposing pitcher, but Tampa Bay is slowly creepin in…

The Yankees did a lot of carping on the strike zone tonight. But PitchF/X makes it seem like the ump had a good night.

Is there anyone hotter than Jeter right now? Dudes killing it.

Don't want to mess this up, Brien – but not sure where else to muse.

With Barto and Melky busted, and Jeter having an unbelievable season —

What do you think would be the response should it turn out that an aging shortstop (who's career looked over a year or so ago, and who just happens to be a poster boy for Not Juicing) that's now looking better than the Babe should drop dirty?

Not accusing – but am I the only guy having his brain tickled with that (miniscule, of course) possibility?

Personally, I think its more likely that he just made a deal with the Devil. That would be guaranteed to be effective, and more believable, too. <div style="display:block;margin:6px 0 0"><a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save"><img src="http://static.addtoany.com/buttons/share_save_171_16.png" alt="Share/Save/Bookmark" border="0" height="16" width="171">

This was Hughes 11 quality outing in his last 15 starts his ERA during that time 3.34 not much else you can ask of a starting pitcher who isn't the teams ace.

If you think Jeter is on the juice, you need your head examined!!!
