A two game swing in the standings against the team they're racing for the division title at this point in the season is most definitely a big deal. Plus it would've been nice for them to have a chance at their first series win against a team over .500 in about a month.
Also I love watching the headlines when this sort of thing happens to the Yankees. A headline I saw last night on ESPN was "Yankees lose to O's on close call". Any other team in the league and that headline reads "Team A loses to Team B on blown call".
