That said, probably least enjoyable playoff series win I've experienced. Outside of Raul's PA in game 3 and the 9th inning of the first game, utter ineptidude. It'd be lazy to succumb to either easy answer that offense wasn't clutch, or that it's 'good October pitching'. It's hard to see through what was clearly some strong pitching to the corners, some expanded zones, and what was truly lack of execution on offense. Pardon the phrase, but I still have blueballs waiting for the offense to come through and put together a nice inning, especially against mediocre starting pitching. Still baffled they didn't obliterate Saunders or Chen.
