Tonight, Stacey and I are joined by Rob Abruzzese of Bronx Baseball Daily, and as you can imagine we spend an awful lot of time talking about Alex Rodriguez and his looming hip surgery. What it says about his postseason performance in hindsight, what it means for the Yankees in 2013 and beyond, and how they should go about replacing him in the lineup. We also spend some time talking about the affect this will have on the Yankees’ payroll plans, and the state of the A.L. East at large.

I'm getting and tired of the way the Yankees are going about business. The richest team in baseball shouldn't worry about getting under 189 million dollar payrolls. They let Martin go without blinking an eye, Josh Hamilton would hit 50 bombs with the Yanks and yet they aren't interested?? I've been a Yanks fan all my life and yet I know George is long gone but he would never let what is going on, go on for much longer. Spend some money and let's win a world series in 2013!!
Let me choke back some vomit and make a suggestion: kevin youkilis. We know what he brings to the table, if he can hit .280 and get on base at a good rate I wouldn't mind (more vomit) bringing him aboard.
Third person to suggest this. Would be a bitter pill but if the sox sign swish, why not?
heck – why not? if nothing else, would be a great prank to pull on Youk…having him go on field in pinstripes would be much like having Stallone going on set in drag.
I woulda sworn that other Red Sox have played on the Yankees – Joba could still bean him in bp.
Youn would work fo me. Play third unti
Arid is ready and tan some ribt hands DH ing.
Azores for the typos. I have. beena Yankee fan for nearly seventy years and my eyes are not so good
