Cervelli is actually looking really good behind the plate. Looks like the work he did on his throwing had paid off so far.

And it's a good thing Halladay is in the NL East. Let the Mets, Braves, Nats and Marlins deal with him all year.

1) The early-defense looks HORRIBLE. This includes Youk and Cano, who both made terrible errors today right?, as well as Nunez.

2) However, and Brien is about to become apoplectic: Cervelli is really impressing. Legging out a deep infield single, making a good bunt/throw-out play, making a really nice delayed strike-em-out/throw-em-out DP. He's really busting his ass to get that C spot.

3) Halladay looks fixed. That could be trouble, yikes. He looked to have really good late movement and "okay" command while not losing much velo from last year. Granted, that was all eye-test and not with stats, so I may be wrong, lol…
