Is no one watching this game?

Ladies and Gentlemen, your season opening lineup.

Cano, Gardner and the 2004 all-stars.

I'm late. Had to get car inspected and since I HATE doing it the last minute I decided on today rather tomorrow,

      How dare you!

      • Phil C

I took your dare before you even issued it!

Amazing, only 2 hold overs from last year's OD game and one – Gardner – played what? 8 games.

  5. Phil C

FINALLY the Yanks luck is changing as Pettitte dodges that bat. And WHAT a play by Robbie!!!!

  6. Phil C

Cano's 1st 8 years, the most extra base hits ever by a 2nd baseperson!

    Noon-E, Noon-E!

Nunez must have eaten his Wheaties this spring, offensively he looks very good. Oh and btw, Wells got his first him in Yankee pinstripes.

Let's hope for one a game average, at least!

    • uyf1950

correction: Wells got his first "hit" in Yankee pinstripes.

      • Phil C

Considering the time of year, maybe it was his first hymn.

Looks like Nunez has been coaching Youk on how to throw!

All that matters here is Pettitte and he’s looking good.

Tomorrow they’re up in my territory, playing West Point. And then…

I think Pettitte & Mo can pitch until they're 50 if they wanted to. I'm looking forward to all the Goodbyes to the Sandman this year.

      And GO ARMY, beat NAVY!!

      • Professor Longnose

The Navy gets the gravy but the Army gets the beans.

My official prediction: Yankees go 173-0 this year.

You're not a "glass half full" type of guy, you're "a giant mug that overflows" type!

It's a festivus for the rest of us. Wells got his 2nd hit of the game.

Well, that's 6 innings of an ST game, so I guess I'm ready for the RS! Enjoy OD Professor. The rest of you, Chat y'all Monday afternoon!

Six very nice innings for Andy against a very good Nationals team today. Looks to me that at least the pitching is running on all cylinders to start the season, both the starters and bullpen. My only concern about the bullpen is Aardsma, I'm still not convinced he's a keeper.

Sabathia didn’t look great but he’s a warm weather guy anyway.

      • uyf1950

He's only pitched 10 innings this spring. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Very cool of the Nationals to honor Mo.
