Game 93: No Jeter, no problem?

Truthfully, the news about Derek Jeter‘s quad could have been much worse. He could have been placed on the DL which would have been fitting for how 2013 has gone for the Yankees so far. For now, he’s resting.

Hiroki Kuroda is not resting. He’s looking for his eighth win of the year. Right now, he’s sitting at 7-6 with a 2.77 ERA. He has been the ace o the staff and was a Mariano Rivera blown save away from his eighth win this past Sunday. Hopefully he’ll have better luck tonight…

…If the game is even played or lasts the night. Right now, the weather in the NYC area looks a tad iffy.

The Yankees are scheduled to face the Twins. They swept Minnesota in four games last week at Target Field. Will they have the same luck this weekend?

Stay tuned.

Enjoy the game.
