Quick hit: Jeter’s returning again (if all goes well)

Hot off the presses a.k.a Twitter:

Girardi confirmed what Jeter said last night: if everything goes well tonight, plan is for him to join team in Toronto Monday

Jeter is scheduled to play seven innings in Scranton tonight.

I’m not too jazzed about Jeter returning while they’re playing a team on turf because, well, the part of his body giving him the most grief this year has been his leg – actually both of them and different parts of them.

Maybe the third time will be the charm?
