Quick hit: Daley added to the roster, Joseph to the 60-day DL

Earlier today, Joe Girardi told the media that both Mariano Rivera and David Robertson would be unavailable to pitch tonight so in order aid the Yankees’ depleted bullpen, the team announced that they’ve added Matt Daley to the roster.

Daley, a right hander, has pitched for the Rockies, and he started his season with Single A Tampa in April. He made his way through the Yankees’ system and pitched very well with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre: He had a 0.87 WHIP, 53 strikeouts and six walks through 39 innings with the RailRiders.

In order to open a spot on the 40-man roster, Corban Joseph was moved to the 60-day disabled list.
