Quick hit: Cano wins the Silver Slugger again

Robinson Cano has won the Silver Slugger award for the fourth straight year – fifth time overall. It wasn’t a shock because Cano was clearly the best offensive second baseman in 2013.

He finished with.314/.383/.516. He had 605 at bats, 190 hits, hit 41 doubles, 27 home runs and collected 107 RBI.

The other winners in the AL were:

C: Joe Mauer
1B: Chris Davis
3B: Miguel Cabrera
SS: J.J. Hardy
LF: Mike Trout
CF: Adam Jones
RF: Torii Hunter
DH: David Ortiz
