Yankees Have Made Offers To Infante, Drew, Ellsbury, Choo, And Beltran

According to Jeff Passan, the Yankees have made offers to infielder Omar Infante, shortstop Stephen Drew, and outfielders Jacoby Ellsbury, Shin-Soo Choo, and Carlos Beltran.

There is also a rumor, courtesy of Mark Feinsand, that the team would be interested in Nelson Cruz if Beltran falls through. The market is moving so fast, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had a signing within the next 24 hours, but I think by the end of next week, we’re going to have a pretty good idea of where the lineup is going in 2014.

Edit (7:09 PM EST): Buster Olney now says that the Yanks don’t have an offer out to Stephen Drew, which makes sense since Cashman said earlier today that the team has more important problems than a shortstop.
