Hot stove hangover

I don’t know about you guys but I feel a bit hungover today. And for the record, I have not touched a drop of alcohol since I drank some wine with my Thanksgiving dinner. Last night was such a crazy night Yankee fans. The news of the Jacoby Ellsbury signing materialized so rapidly that it went from a possibility to a fact in less than 18 minutes.

While everything was unfolding, my Twitter timeline was whizzing by to the point where I felt like I was going to have seizure and I had to tab out of Tweetdeck. It was exciting, invigorating and ultimately exhausting and now, I’m tired.

The most amusing thing about all of this is that the Winter meetings aren’t until next week and most of the people who will going there think they’re going to be a big letdown.

But who knows? Robinson Cano isn’t signed and word now is that he met with the Mariners in Seattle. Maybe we’ll all be battling another hot stove hangover next week and because I made a joke about dying my hair blonde if Cano signed with Seattle, a trip to the hair salon may be in the cards for me as well.
