Monday Night Open Thread

It’s Monday!

It’s nighttime!

Here’s your open thread!

  • In case you missed it, EJ wrote about young Latin American Prospects and I posted a picture of skinny CC Sabathia. (Today is a holiday and a slow news day).
  • Rumors are that the two finalists in the Masahiro Tanaka sweepstakes are the Cubs and the Yankees. (That’s what I saw being said on Twitter – don’t shoot the messenger) All of this is really speculation for now because Tanaka and his agent Casey Close are being really close-lipped. I’m just glad this whole thing is almost over. Maybe then, the Yankees can finish up making their moves for 2014 because the team is incomplete as is. (I don’t care what the 40-man roster says.)
  • Derek Jeter took some grounders today and survived. Hooray!

Anyway, feel free to discuss whatever you’d like, be kind and rewind.
