Thursday Night Open Thread: 1/30/14

There are 15 days until Pitchers and Catchers report to camp and tonight, I’m honoring Thurman Munson with a picture. Munson, who passed away nearly 35 years ago, had a career line of .292/.346/.410/.756 with 113 home runs and 701 RBI.

It was a pretty quiet day in Yankeeland but in other news, Michael Young announced his retirement from baseball. He says he had three offers to play in 2014 but ultimately chose to retire so he could spend more time with his family.

Feel free to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, be kind and respectful to your fellow posters.
