It was a slow day because the Yankees were off and nothing was really happening.

Andrew Marchand of ESPN NY had a Q&A session with Masahiro Tanaka that didn’t reveal much of anything other than the fact that he liked Japanese pop music but not his wife’s music. Oops.

Tomorrow CC Sabathia will be making his second start of the spring against the Nationals in Viera. The game will be on TV so if you haven’t seen skinny CC in action, tomorrow will be your chance.

Dr. Frank Jobe, who pioneered Tommy John surgery passed away late last week and this piece from Scott Lindholm of Beyond The Boxscore shows you how the guys who had the surgery have performed.

And in case you missed it yesterday, David Laurila of Fangraphs had a fascinating and eye-opening interview with an unnamed, former player who outlined his PED usage in great detail. It’s not clear if he’s a former Major Leaguer but it’s a good read nonetheless. Lots of insights to how certain drugs make you feel, etc.

Enjoy your evening!
