Quick hit: Beltran Wins AL Player of the Week

Some good news.

Carlos Beltran was named the American League Player of the Week after hitting .423 with seven runs scored, four doubles, three home runs and six RBI in seven games from April 7-13. That works out to a .423/.464/.923/1.387 line.

Not too shabby.
