Friday Afternoon/Evening Open Thread: 5/16/14

It’s raining and there will be no Yankee game so I thought why not relive “Walk Off Weekend” which occurred May 15-May 17, 2009 against the Minnesota Twins.

It began with Melky Cabrera’s walkoff:

Continued with Alex Rodriguez’s walkoff:

And concluded with Johnny Damon’s walkoff:

It was a four game series, Friday to Monday, and while the Yankees didn’t walk off on that Monday night, they did win the game and swept the four game set.

Anyway, enjoy your afternoon!
