Extremely Brief Recap: Cubs 6, Yankees 1

Well, that was unexpected.

Masahiro Tanaka lost his first game of the season and first regular season game since about 1978 to the Chicago Cubs who are terrible. What’s that thing our radio play by play guy says? Oh yes, you can’t predict baseball, Suzyn.

Right. That.

The Yankees’ offense couldn’t do anything and the defense played horribly again.

Oh well.

The story of the night aside from Tanaka not being very Tanaka-like was John Baker who came into the game with an .063 average getting two hits off of him. He raised his BA to a robust .114!

Turn the page on this one, kids.
