The Yankees have won four in a row and eight of their last ten, and have climbed three games in the standings since the beginning of the week. That is quite impressive. In the last three games, Brian McCann all but matched his production for the first half of the month – he had eight hits, one XBH, four RBI, and four BB between June 1 and June 17, as compared to four hits, two XBH, six RBI, and three BB since Wednesday. That is … impressive, as well, but in a somewhat sad way.
