Game 91: Take the Series, Please

For those of you who missed the news, Yangervis Solarte has been called-up to replace Carlos Beltran and Carlos Beltran’s Broken Face™. Since being demoted to Triple-A last week, Solarte has hit the proverbial crap out of the ball, batting .600/.619/.850 with 3 doubles and a triple in 20 at-bats. Here’s hoping that some of that performance can follow him back to the Majors – or, at the very least, that it helped him find his timing, bolstering his confidence along the way.

I don’t think that that’s too much to ask for.
