Game 110: Phelps-Buchholz

Michael Pineda looked good in his first MiL rehab start today, Masahiro Tanaka looks like he’s ready to start throwing again tomorrow, and the Yankees are facing noted blowup expert Clay Buchholz in tonight’s series finale against the Red Sox.  Everything’s coming up positive for them in the pitching world.  They send David Phelps to the mound tonight to oppose Buchholz and roll out the best 1-9 lineup we’ve seen in months to hopefully punish him to an early exit.

1) Brett Gardner– LF
2) Derek Jeter– SS
3) Jacoby Ellsbury– CF
4) Mark Teixeira– 1B
5) Carlos Beltran– DH
6) Brian McCann– C
7) Chase Headley-3B
8) Stephen Drew– 2B
9) Martin Prado– RF

First pitch is coming up soon.  Here’s your game thread.  Let’s go Yankees!
