Quick Hit: Phelps To The 15-Day DL

There you go.  Sounds like it’s the best possible case for an already crummy case.  David Phelps will take a 15-day trip to rest his elbow and will need to be replaced in the rotation.  For the time being, that replacement will not be Michael Pineda but he remains an ideal option for the near future as long as his health allows for it.

I’m sure we’ll get more info on who the immediate replacement will be.  For tonight’s game, Matt Daley has been called up to take Phelps’ spot on the active roster.

About Brad Vietrogoski

Born in Dover, Delaware and raised in Danbury, Connecticut, Brad now resides in Wisconsin, where he regularly goes out of his way to remind Brewers fans that their team will never be as good as the Yankees. When he’s not writing for IIATMS, he likes to spend his time incorporating “Seinfeld” quotes into everyday conversation, critiquing WWE storylines, and drinking enough beer to be good at darts.
