Quick hit: Yanks call up Bootcheck

Earlier I told you about Thomas Neal being called up from Triple A Scranton, well you can add Chris Bootcheck to the list. He has also been called up, according to George King of the New York Post.

Bootcheck, 34, has been starting at Scranton, but will come to the Yankees as a reliever. He’s 5-2 with a 3.32 ERA down there this season.

David Adams was sent down to Scranton for Neal and it looks like Adam Warren, who pitched six innings of scoreless ball in last night's agonizing 18-inning loss, will be the corresponding move for Bootcheck.
