Flashback: July 24, 1983

The Yankees and Kansas City Royals had a pretty fierce rivalry in the late 70's and early 80's. If you think KC booing Robinson Cano for leaving Billy Butler off the home run derby team last year was bad, it was nothing compared to 30-35 years ago.

I watched this game with my dad and I remember being a little frightened by how angry George Brett became when they called him out for having an illegal bat. I had never seen someone get that angry before.
