Game 144: It's do or die time, boys

A four-game series in September with Wild Card implications? Sure! Why not? Considering everyone's negative prognostications about the Yankees before the season began and while they lost players daily to injuries, the fact that they're even in the hunt for a playoff spot is impressive.

Tonight, the Yankees will call upon CC Sabathia to continue their winning ways. Sabathia is looking to build on an okay outing last Wednesday night against the White Sox in which he lasted 7.1 innings, gave up five hits, three runs and struck out four.

Opposing him is Chris Tillman who had control issues in his last start against Cleveland.

Three guys who have had success against Tillman are Alex Rodriguez, Robinson Cano and Eduardo Nunez - both Rodriguez and Cano have two homers off him.
