Friday Afternoon Linkapalooza: 2/27/15

Sorry for the late post.  It's been a busy day at the office and a busy week in general, so I didn't get to do nearly the amount of reading around the Yankosphere that I usually do.  Now onto the links. - On Tuesday, Chad Jennings of LoHud got Andrew Miller's thoughts on how he's handled big situations before and what his goals are for this season.

- Chris Mitchell of Pinstripe Alley profiled right-handed relief prospect Nick Rumbelow.  The skills need some polish, but his last name is an A+ reliever name.

- El duque of It Is High... mused on the idea of the Yankees needing to fall apart to begin a true rebuild.  I don't think it will get that bad this year, but a bottoming out actually wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

- On Thursday, Derek Albin of Pinstripe Pundits analyzed Jacoby Ellsbury's sluggish September to see if it could offer anything in the way of predictions for this season.

- Delia Enriquez of Bronx Baseball Daily ran through the list of projected backups for all the injury-risky starters.

- Michael Axisa of RAB examined the options Joe has for the top of his batting order and the pros and cons of batting Ellsbury or Brett Gardner first or second.

- On Friday, Daniel Burch of The Greedy Pinstripes profiled his pick for #2 prospect in the Yankee farm system.

From the IIATMS team:

- On Monday, Scott reacted to the disappointing Yoan Moncada decision in the context of dollars, cents, and projected WAR value.

- On Tuesday, I commented on the greater problem that the Moncada decision speaks to: the continued disorganization and lack of clear plan in the Yankee front office.

- Also on Tuesday, I previewed the key Spring Training roster battles to watch.

Going with some old Fleetwood Mac for this week's jam.  I was stoked when I realized I had "Rumors" in my record collection the other night, and I read the recent Rolling Stone profile on Stevie Nicks when I was flying home last weekend, so it's been an F-Mac heavy week for me.  "Gold Dust Woman" is such a badass song.  Almost makes you want to start doing blow to see if you could write a song about it as good as this one, doesn't it?

Enjoy your weekends, everybody.  And don't actually start doing cocaine.  That wouldn't be good.
