RECAP: Nats 8 Yankees 2

Well, that wasn't very pleasant. The big story was CC Sabathia who had a rough first inning. Here's the rundown:

The good thing is that CC "settled" down after the first and finished his outing with five hits, 3 runs, 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 5 and 1/3 innings pitched. Amazingly, those three walks were his first three of the spring.

In other news, Chase Headley had two of the Yankees' eight hits and one RBI. Rob Refsnyder added the other RBI after coming into the game for Gregorio Petit.

Oh, and Mark Teixeira is continuing to hit the ball to the opposite field which is nice to see. Let's hope that continues into the season and that he says healthy.

It wasn't a nice way to say goodbye to the Tampa crowd for the season but a lot of those same people will probably be at the Trop when the Yankees play the Rays so they can make it up to them then.
